Reciprocating compressors for air

SIAD Macchine Impianti offers a wide range of API 618 Reciprocating Compressors designed and built to compress air for all types of applications.

These compressors draw air directly from the atmosphere, or they can compress that already pressurized coming from the customer’s plant, acting as a “booster” to reach extremely high final pressures.

Depending on requirements, they are able to work with both dry air and humid air;  for this,  SIAD Macchine Impianti provides automatic condensate discharge systems to ensure the best performance of the compression unit.

The compressors are skid-mounted and they can be oil free or mini-lubricated depending on the required working pressure.

Their greater flexibility compared to screw compressors, in relation to the inlet air conditions, allows SIAD compressors to successfully  adapt to every type of need.

Thanks to the configuration of the cylinders, and the possibility of having the motor with a belt drive coupled to the compressor, the space required is greatly optimized, thereby facilitating maintenance operations.  Finally,  the low rotation speeds mean reduced wear.

In addition, SIAD Macchine Impianti can offer a complete package which includes the compression unit and drier to provide customers with extremely dry compressed air, with a guaranteed dew point to -40°C.
