Growth Excellence, Operational Excellence And High-Performance Culture: the three pillars of the strategic development pathway

 

Growth Excellence

Growth Excellence focuses on the development and diversification of the market, closely related to product differentiation and innovation. To work on decarbonization a topic increasingly at the center of debate, SIAD Macchine Impianti is focusing on reducing the carbon footprint of its products and improving their efficiency by means of reduced energy consumption and more.

Innovation is also taking place in research into “oil-free” compressors, where the compressed gas is not contaminated with lubricant; for higher pressures, a technology is being developed that can broaden the applications of compression to fields in greater demand, primarily green hydrogen. Not to mention biogas and biomethane compressors, nor heat recovery system technologies, to optimize compressor operations and to eliminate the dispersion of energy as a result, ultimately preventing further waste and dissipation.

 

Operational Excellence

Streamlined company management, also taking in the application of the LEAN principles, results in objective, qualitative and quantitative improvements that can represent and create value for internal and external customers. Competitiveness on the market is therefore improved, by optimizing corporate processes and reducing waste. By adopting the LEAN model as a company philosophy, SIAD Macchine Impianti has embarked on an authentic pathway of changing its way of thinking, a fundamental process that affects not only the tools and methods, but also the corporate culture.

One of the cornerstones of this pathway of Operational Excellence is to engage the supply chain by means of a strategic sourcing & procurement program. Another is the drive to digitize products, processes and services, to increase productivity and to exchange information more rapidly and efficiently; for example, allowing its customers to use Smart Glasses to participate in testing remotely, and its specialized technicians to supervise work on site even when away. The dedicated “SIADMI4U” platform also enables the remote monitoring and management of its plant and compressor operations.

 

High Performance Culture

The third pillar include both the involvement of internal stakeholders via specific training programs and career progression paths, as well as the development plan for environmental and social sustainability, which sets distinct objectives to reduce impact on the environment and to create value for stakeholders.
