Tungsten Hexafluoride, WF₆, is a colourless, toxic, nonflammable, corrosive gas shipped in nickel cylinders.

Applications
In the semiconductor industry, Tungsten Hexafluoride is used for:

• low pressure or plasma-enhanced CVD of tungsten and tungsten silicides.
